CROATIA, ISLAND OF HVAR: KISSED BY THE SUN…
The Island of Hvar is certainly the most trendy island of Croatia, lunching fashions and new inspirations but also the one that enjoys perpetual sun year around.
In the spring it assumes the colours of the huge lavender fields emanating their perfume together with the typical Mediterranean odor of rosemary, in the summer it fills with lush green vegetation subsiding in the blue of the sea. Its seabed is incredible, the beaches are mostly of gravel and rocks, the crystal clear sea inviting becomes an irresistible lure to plunge in it.

Don’t miss visiting Starigrad, protected by a green bay of 6 Km, once ancient city of Greece known with the name of Pharos. Walking through the narrow alleys of this “ancient city” all its history and all its traditions enclosed inside the stone houses and the big slabs of the street come alive.
The city of Hvar is laid around its port of clear waters and rich of fish, it structure somehow remembering Venice due to the Venetian dominance between 1400 and 1700. Seen from above, it shows all its splendor: the stone houses clinging around the port, the narrow alleys typical of other cities of the island, the restaurants and bars facing the port and calling in crowds of tourists.
Summer is certainly the best season to visit this magnificent city of Hvar offering an historical and cultural patrimony of great value thanks to its Romanic cathedral, its Franciscan monastery, its theater and its fort dominating from above.

| MEXICO, MAYAN RIVIERA: SURPRISING CARIBBEAN...
With its 150 Km of coast reaching from Playa del Carmen to Tulum, the Mayan Riviera represents an unusual destination for a vacation in Mexico, almost opposed to Cancun. The real secret of the Mayan Riviera is the capacity to superimpose and to combine different experiences in an unusual mix capturing the best of its past and offering it to the visitors in a modern way.
Below the shadow of temples on steep slopes of sand contrasting with the intense blue of the sea, Tulum has manages to preserve its corner of tranquility and it shows it to the visitors looking for an alternative holiday.
Cobe, located in a hidden bay, is the most expanded Mayan city with its monuments, mostly covered by the jungle. They have to be visited on foot, along a 7 Km. long trail. Here it is possible to admire the giant astronomical machines built by the Maya to calculate the most precise calendar ever created, made “to capture time”. The Mayan calendar used to be so precise in foreseen the cosmos’s movements to allow the construction of buildings with angles related to the equinoxes and to the lunar phases.
Playa del Carmen is for sure a perfect base for snorkeling and scuba diving along the second longest coral reef with the possibility of exploring the marvelous marine caves and to rent boats for discovering unknown hideaways.
